No, you do not need a subscription to view or earn achievements. They are completely free!

Please note that if you reset your computer or use a different computer, your unlocked achievements will not be transferred to your account, as they will not be synced if you do not subscribe to Hydra Cloud.

Hydra Cloud will sync them to your account and display them on your profile.
