Can Hydra identify and unlock my Steam achievements?

In update 3.6.4, support was added to identify achievements that are locally cached on Steam.

How does it work?

We've noticed that as you play games or browse your Steam library, it stores the last 15 achievements you unlocked in a file that Hydra can read. Unfortunately, this means that games where you've unlocked more than 15 achievements aren't guaranteed to have all of them identified by Hydra.

However, Hydra will identify in real time any updates Steam makes to this file (as well as any other achievement file). This means that even if you unlock more than 15 achievements as you play, as long as Hydra is open, it will identify and save achievements as you unlock them.

How to enable this feature?

Go to the Settings page, open “Behavior” tab and enable the option “Enable search for Steam achievements“. As soon as the option is enabled, Hydra will start looking for Steam achievement files.
